The state data for all three states are the final data as of September 2013.
Precipitation and temperature data is based on the Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) data as of 9-Sep-2013. Where data is missing PRISM was used to fill in the missing month. The mkppt2 program was updated to fill data missing from both the GHCN and PRISM data with the mean monthly historical precipitation for each station calculated by the Desert Research Institute. This ensures that data are always always available for any month, and facilitates forecasts where GHCN or PRISM data are not available for the entire year.
The following table shows the precipitation data filling for 2012. The selected monthly precipitation value is shown with a yellow background.
